The Mission

The LDA Mission

LDA is a virtual collective and informal coming together of people and organizations, each keeping their IP, but bringing their passion to work for the enhancement of quality of life for people with disabilities.

This website is intended to be the hub for collaboration and sharing of experiences and open source resources and tools and to spread awareness about solutions that work. The current  members of the virtual collective span the spectrum of stakeholders and we are looking to add more and diverse members from around the world.

The LDA methodology was created by Manohar Swaminathan and Joyojeet Pal at Microsoft Research. This website however is, and always will be, an independent  community resource.
